Baskin Robbins has the 31 Flavors of Ice Cream… well, I have 32 flavors of protein shakes that are rocking my world!
This is Randall. He runs Claw Nutrition in my town of Durant, OK. (Randall runs a mean boot camp and will kick your rear end into gear).
But Randall also got me hooked on Herbalife Protein Shakes. Trust me friends, I have choked down a lot of protein shakes in my life. Name pretty much any brand, and I’ve tried it. These are the first protein shakes that I actually crave!
Why Protein Shakes?
1) I’m always on the go… I can whip up one of these at home for breakfast when I oversleep or stop by The Claw and grab my lunch while I run errands.
2) They are a healthy option. In our small town, lunch options (particularly fast lunch options) aren’t on the 30-Something Diet Plan. These shakes all come in around 220-280 calories. AND they fill me up (the volume of liquid, ice and air help make your stomach full).
I don’t sell Herbalife or these shakes, but if you are interested, you could check out the Herbalife website to find someone who does. Or check out Randall’s website at www.clawnutrition.com
I went ahead and bought all the ingredients to make my own shakes at home. Randall gave me a list of 32 different flavor combinations… Wedding Cake, Reeses Cheesecake, Oatmeal Cookie, Strawberry Banana, Caramel Cheesecake, & Butterfinger to name a few.
Today, I’ll share the recipe for No Bake Cookie – one of my favorites for breakfast!
NO BAKE COOKIE PROTEIN SHAKE
Start with 8 oz. of water
Then add 2 scoops of Herbalife Healthy Meal Cookies & Cream (which is pretty good on it’s own, too).
Add 1 scoop of Chocolate Protein Drink Mix
Add 1 Tbsp. of PB2 Powder (This is another amazing food… powdered peanut butter! There are only 23 calories in a Tablespoon. I’m officially obsessed).
Then add 1 Tbsp. of Oatmeal
And add 1 tsp. of vanilla pudding powder (I don’t use sugar free because it’s such a small amount… but you can if it makes you feel better).
Add a heaping cup of ice and blend it all together
Pour into an Eskimo Joe’s cup and drink it! (Actually, the Eskimo Joe’s cup is optional… but I only drink out of Eskimo Joe’s cups. It’s a strange habit I have. In fact, I only eat cereal out of Eskimo Joe’s cups, too. That’s for another post… when we discuss my mental problems!)
But there you have it. This shake comes in at 243 calories, 6 grams of fat, 23 grams of carbs, 27 grams of protein, 6 grams of sugar, and 6 grams of fiber. It’s an everyday part of my 30-Something Girl Diet!

LizBeth,
Crazy thing-I only drink out of Eskimo Joes cups and will only eat cereal out of them too!!! I’m going to find some of this protein powder!!! I’m not a big fan of what I have now so I’m on a mission!!! Loving your blog!!!!
Kristen (Kimbo)
I am going to order myself some of that powdered peanut butter….then I won’t have chunks in my protein drinks
Would the normal protein powder be okay to use or would it be much better with the chocolate one?
Hi Shannon… Actually you can make a couple different drinks with regular vanilla protein powder! Use the vanilla and add nutmeg and cinnamon to make an “Oatmeal Cookie” shake. If you take out the oatmeal and do 2 scoops C&C, 1 scoop vanilla protein, and 1 tsp of white chocolate & 1 tsp of vanilla pudding, you get “Wedding Cake”! So there are some options to explore.
Oh wow thanks so much they sound awesome!! You have helped so much. So hard to find good c&c recipes
Mmm, made this for lunch today and it was really good. Care to share any others? Thanks!
I would love to share, but they are not all my recipes. My friend Randall, who owns The Claw Nutrition, might be willing to send you the whole list. I love the variety! And experiment with different puddings, too. There are a lot of options. http://www.clawnutrition.com
